What Does Dark Return Do?
When you play Dark Return you get to choose one unit card from your Void (so not a Spell or [[Weapon]) and return it to your hand. On the way the card receives a permanent buff of +1/+1. Any attachments (including Curses) it had when killed will have been removed when entering the void.
This is a great way of reusing units quickly after they've been killed on the battlefield. It's especially useful if you want to exceed the 'four per deck' limit on a card. By bringing a copy back, you effectively get to play it more than four times. This is especially useful with cards such as Clockroach which get stronger the more of them you play.
Note that when a card returns from the Void any one shot skills are refreshed. This means that (for example) the unit's Infiltrate skill can be used again. On the flip side, if a card is silenced when entering the void it remains silenced when it comes out.
One thing to be careful of: it's possible for a card to enter the void with a negative health, for example as a result of Stray Into Shadow. In this case even with the +1/+1 buff the unit still won't have any health and will die as soon as you summon it onto the battlefield!
