Initiate Of The Sands

Initiate Of The Sands is a common unit card from the Eternal card game. It belongs to the Time faction.

What Does Initiate Of The Sands Do?

Whilst this card in in play on the battlefield, your maximum Power (the total power you have available each turn) is increased by one. Your influence is not affected, so your total power can be greater than your total influence.

An extra one power might not seem much, but remember that it's an extra unit of power every turn That can really help in putting you ahead of your opponent, especially at the start of the game. And if you can manage to get two or three Initiates in play early it's a massive advantage, especially for a ramp deck.

If Initiate of the Sands is killed or Silenced then you lose the extra point of power That's probably going to happen quite soon even if you keep this card out of direct combat. With only one health it's vulnerable to all sorts of cheap spells such as Lightning Storm, Vara's Favor or Temper.
