Light The Fuse

Light The Fuse is a legendary spell card from the Eternal card game. It belongs to the Fire faction.

What Does Light The Fuse Do?

As the name suggests, Light The Fuse is a delayed effect spell. Nothing obvious happens immediately, however your opponent gets five extra cards shuffled into their deck. These cards are Firebomb spells with a cost of 1 power and the Destiny skill. When one is drawn is is automatically played and deals 5 damage to your opponent.

This has several effects. As well as losing 5 health (which may or may not be serious) your opponent has one less power point left to use that turn. Depending on your opponent's deck and the will of the almighty RNG this can either be a minor irritant or a major problem.

An interesting point about this card is that it often works better against serious players than more casual ones. Serious players tend to keep their deck size down to the minimum of 75 cards. More casual players often have larger decks - which means that statistically the Firebombs are less likely to be drawn.
