Stray Into Shadow

Stray Into Shadow is a Rare spell card from the Eternal card game. It belongs to the Shadow faction.

What Does Stray Into Shadow Do?

Stray Into Shadow is an area effect spell that provides an excellent way to weaken and possibly destroy an enemy army: when you play this card, all unit suffer a debuff of -4 health.

Note that this isn't just 4 damage, it's a permanent reduction of their health by four - which might make their health negative! This debuff stays in place even if th unit dies and is then brought back from the Void. If a unit's health is reduced to zero or less by Stray Into Shadow then brought back, it instantly dies!

Remember that this spell affects all units on the board, including yours. So it might not be so useful if you're building a deck based around bringing units back from the void. At least Dark Return will improve the returning unit's health by one, but a unit previously hit by Stray Into Shadow is still going to be weak.
